Hey Guys!
Below you will read a little more about me and how I came to be a graphic designer. You'll also find my education and work experience at the bottom of the page. As you will see I did things a little backwards, I started with working getting some experience and then went to school. Now I'm ready to dive back into the field.
My Story
Hey all! My name is Tina Emma, and I am a freelance Graphic Designer. I have loved art and design since I was a little girl. My mom would always tell the story of the first time I discovered crayons; it was when she caught me drawing on the walls in our hallway. She quickly showed me coloring paper and made sure to keep me stocked up in hopes of keeping me busy and away from the walls. It totally worked in both our favors as I was set on my creative path.

I have grown over the years from coloring paper and crayons using all different types of mediums in my creative process, paint, acrylic, chalk, computer graphics, fabric for clothing design, and icing! Yes, icing, in confectionary design, making unique and beautiful cakes for weddings and special occasions. Out of everything, I have come back around to graphic design. My love of print and logo design has tugged at my heart since I learned about it in high school. Being able to create a logo for a company is a timeless piece as logos are used for decades. Seeing just a single logo will spark familiarity and people instantly know who the company is, it’s their trademark.

When it comes to branding or re-branding a company, there are so many layers involved. It is one I take pride in where I get to work closely with the owners and add a little sparkle to their vision. In addition, some companies need merchandise which sends my mind in so many creative ways. The passion I have never dulls when I talk or hear about graphic design.
