Promotional Event Flyer

This was a school project to redesign a promo ad for a local Cheese Festival being held over the weekend. The even was for all ages as it was a family style event, with the main attraction being a large tasting event. There would be a wide assortment of cheese from all over being brought in for tasting, pairings and new experiences.

Problem needing to be solved: Redesign the promo ad to better match the event's theme, highlighting a fun and unique experience that's enjoyable for all ages, including kids.

After some research, I was able to come up with a fun advertisement that was sure to grab the target audience. Playing on all ages and fun aspect I decided to use a cartoon style and created characters out of a few cheese pieces. Sticking to the color palette I switched the colors around, using a vibrant yellow as the main color along with circular shapes to mimic the look of cheese. I toned down the blue to a more subtle navy blue, which also gives a nod to blue cheese.
